For foreign companies entering Saudi Arabia
The Implementing Regulations of the Foreign Investment Law require the foreign company’s commercial register and last-year financial statements to be in Arabic, or translated by a certified translation office in the Kingdom.
The Saudi Business Center and the Ministry of Commerce may also ask for:
- The parent company’s commercial register or certificate of incorporation
- Articles of association and memorandum
- The partners’ or board resolution to invest in Saudi Arabia
- Appointment of the general manager and their powers
- Powers of attorney issued by the partners
- Financial statements
Many of these documents must first be legalised in the country of issue and at the Saudi embassy.
